KEY AREAS OF ACTIVITY:

• Ensure that new products introduction smoothly to meet customer requirement. Provide stable process for master production and keep continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES IN DETAIL:

• Responsible for establishing, developing and leading the engineering department in compliance with company’s strategy of building a strong technology team;
• Establish standard policies or SOP for the new product introduction;
• Manage and control the whole NPI process to provide good quality samples to the customer on time;
• Maintain the Die Cut product costing model to ensure accuracy and drive competitive performance within 24hrs;
• Responsible for technical development and delivery of new products;
• Specify tooling design requirements to ensure production quality and efficiency;
• Manage sample team to produce good quality sample to the customers within 48hrs;
• Responsible for providing leadership to the engineering team, be technical interface with the customer to ensure all product quality and performance requirements are met;
• Ensure process parameters compliant to the requirement;
• Manage to provide stable process for master production;
• Providing technical support of process improvement to improve production efficiency and materials saving;
• Work with equipment suppliers to make ensure best-in-class performance in Quality, Cost and Efficiency;
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in the creation of production documents and specifications (Work Instructions, Engineering Drawings, BOM and Routings);
• Provide technical support for the selection and qualification of raw materials.
